Number 1 of 500 copies. Privately printed, Montreal. Bookplate on front pastedown: W.W. Francis Prize in the History of Medicine. This was William Willoughby Francis' personal copy made especially for the presentation. It is the only gold embossed copy in full morocco with marbled endpapers. Includes a copy of William Willoughby Francis' speech at dinner, menu from Ritz Carleton for the dinner of this Osler Society meeting, newspaper article from Scope on the event with a photo of William Willoughby Francis, and typed letter signed Lloyd Stevenson to Marian Francis Kelen about the event, with four black and white photographs of scenes from the dinner with notables: Lloyd Stevenson, John Fulton, Marian Francis Kelen, etc.
