Letter to Henri Amédée Lafleur from William Osler, 1, West Franklin Street, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He tells Lafleur of his trip to England and his research into the life of Sydenham. He writes of his summer activities and his recent trip to Minneapolis to visit a colleague, Davis, who then died of Addisons disease. Upon his return to Baltimore, he received news that his nephew Jack was very ill, so he headed off to Toronto. It was during this time that Osler contracted acute Bronchitis and retreated to the Pennsylvania mountains with the Cunninghams to recuperate.
