Tolland, Matt, 1950-

Matt Santateresa, also known as Matt Tolland, was born on March 15, 1950, in Montreal, Quebec.
He is a Canadian poet. He graduated from Concordia University (M.A., 1982) with a thesis, "Notes From an Island.” His poems appeared in Antigonish Review, Prism, Event, Waves, Nashwaak Review, Fiddlehead, Quarry and others. He is the author of the books "The Other Side of Komodo Island: A Group of Left-Handed Poems, Some Written From a Komodo Dragon's Perspective" (1999), "Combustible Light" (1999), "A Beggar's Loom" (2001), and "Icarus Redux" (2003). He was an academic advisor at Concordia University (1982-2006). He lives and writes in Montréal.
