Informs her that he had secured two more diplomas for his McGill collection, a 1599 Leyden and a 1695 Rome. Requests a list of the diplomas he has deposited. He does not want to duplicate them. Deplores that he could not come to the opening. He is afraid that the new diplomas will not arrive in time for the opening. He got a manuscript of Laennec, his autographic article on Bayle and a letter. Says that he is nearly ruined by his latest buys. Civilities.
