Osler has been interested in a Heart Hospital at Hampstead. Archie Malloch will be in charge of a Canadian Red Cross Hospital in London. Isabelle Meredith and Dinah have been to visit. Katherine McLennan is now with Lady Drummond. Revere is well and waiting to be sent to Exeter for training.

Letter to Susan Revere Chapin from Grace Revere Osler, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Mr. Penfield has been visiting for a week, recuperating from an injury he sustained when the ship he was traveling on was torpedoed. Miss Baldwin, who was on the same ship, is beginning to recover. Revere remains in Oxford and is busy studying Mathematics. Mr. Warwick Green of the Rockefeller Commission and his secretary Mr. Reginald Foster have come to see about the Belgian refugees. Osler spoke at the opening of an exhibition for the Shakespeare Tercentenary celebrations at Oxford. Lady Osler writes of Campbell Gwyn, Campbell Howard, Jean, Archie, Katherine McLennan and Joan MacKenzie. She has been looking after a nice Canadian from Victoria.

Revere and his father have the most wonderful times with books. Bob Emmons leaves for France. Lady Osler writes of the many guests she has been entertaining in her home. Mr. Penfield, who was injured on a torpedoed ship, is recovering at the Oslers' home.

She is constantly anxious about the Osler men and Campbell Gwyn at the Front. She is glad that Chapin will take a holiday with Harvey Cushing. The Baldwin girl who was injured on a torpedoed ship is not doing well. Mr. Penfield, who was on the same ship, will visit with the Oslers when he has recovered from his injuries. Lady Osler is grieved to here about Jane Burke. She met with Mary Cabot for lunch.

She writes of her contributions to the war-effort and of the self-indulgence of the Belgian refugees. Revere hopes to be sent to Exeter for training. They did not hear of Dr. Cheever or Dr. Bremer passing through. Campbell Gwyn, Allan Meredith, Ralph, Hugh and Jack Osler are all at the Front. Nancy Astor has given birth to a son, Joan MacKenzie will stay at Oxford until May, and Adèle is worn out from her hospital work.
