Letter to Maude E. Abbott from William Osler, 13, Norham Gardens, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Compliment on her article on the Congenital Cardiac Disease for the System. It is the best thing ever written on this subject in English, and possibly in any language. Considers it as the new standard on the subject. Thanks her. Shares the same opinion as she on Rokitansky's great monograph. P.S. He regrets that Rokitansky and Peacock are not alive to read it.

Letter to Maude E. Abbott from William Osler, 13, Norham Gardens, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Delighted to hear of the new malady. Advises her to call it Abbott's disease. Jokes about McCrae being a hard taskmaster. Mentions that he quite appreciated the words of Mackenzie, but this is a system for general practitioners. Comments on Hart. He is off to Aberdeen and will sail on September 5th. Will let her know when he will be in Montreal.

Letter to Maude E. Abbott from William Osler, From the Regius Professor of Medicine, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Sorry that her sister is ill again. If there was a matter of urgency and she was needed by Keith at the Royal College of Surgeons, she might get away for a few months. Fears that with the Journal, she will be doing too much. Good comments about the first fasciculus of the catalogue. It was nice to dedicate it to the memory of Wyatt Johnson. Promises to send something for the Journal.

Letter to Maude E. Abbott from William Osler, 7, Norham Gardens, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Congratulations on her circular (to collaborators) which is admirable and should bring out good material. Compliments on her work which stimulates men to look up these subjects. Recommends to her that she asks Campbell Howard and William Francis to work with her when they return to Montreal. Her plan for an Association of Medical Museum Officers will create interest. It is neglected in the United States. He wants to be a member. Word about Carveth's estimate for the typography which is expensive.
