Letter to Henry Phipps from William Osler, From the Regius Professor of Medicine, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Constable and Co. will undertake a re-issue and will write Phipps about it to make arrangements. He will write the introduction. The delay was caused by a diversion caused by the fact that Longmans and Co. had published another translation. Mention that they are getting the tuberculosis question settled. Mention of the Special Appeal Committee of Young Astor which aroused enthusiasm. They have opened a special dispensary at the Radcliffe Infirmary, for Oxford and the district. Civilities.
