They have often spoken of him, wondering how he was getting along in these dreadful conditions. Deplores the fact that it will dig a gulf between the English and German profession. They are all very busy. News from McKenzie and Keith. Details about the hospital in Oxford. There has been little or no typhoid, and no serious epidemic outbreak. Revere has joined the Canadian Contingent, and will be Birkett's orderly officer in the McGill Unit. Must be great for him to be a follower of van Swieten and de Haen. Mentions that he had some additions to his Boerhaave collection. Mentions a nice set of unedited letters. Attached is Cushing's note on the relations to the Germans.
