There are points both for and against it. Will talk about it with him in London. Does not see how Barker could accept it. Mention of a busy season and of many visitors. The girls are getting ready for the presentation to Court. The Hoe sale was interesting, he lost everything but a copy of Aegineta. Mention of a big sale in Amsterdam, asks him if he will bid on the letters of Vesal and Laennec. He ruined himself at the Phillips sale. He bought a manuscript of Albertus Magnus, etc
