History

Dr. Kenneth Ormrod was born in Montreal in 1918 and moved to Trois-Rivieres as a child. He was a McGill University student who received a B.Sc. in 1940 and his M.D. in 1943. He interned at Royal Victoria Hospital and served in the RCAMC from 1942 to 1946. From 1945 to 1949 he was in general practice in Birmingham, Alabama. In 1949, he moved to Hartford, Connecticut, and began working at Aetna Life Underwriting and was appointed as Assistant Vice President and Associate Medical Director, Employee Health Services. He worked at Aetna Life for 34 years.

In the 1980s he lived in Avon, Connecticut.
