File consists of published report for 1888-1889 from the Natural History Society of Northumberland, Durham, and Newcastle-upon-Tyne annual meeting, 12 July 1889, bound in blue paper wrappers. Note on cover indicates that the report was sent to Crawhall on 24 March 1890 after a letter of his was published in the Newcastle Journal. A clipping of the letter is pasted on the front cover. A letter from the Natural History Society to Crawhall is tipped in on inside cover.
