History
Rev. Peter McIntyre Morrison was born on July 25, 1840, in St. James, New Brunswick, Canada.
He was a clergyman. He was educated at the St. Andrew's Academy and at the Presbyterian College, Halifax. He was ordained in 1865 and took charge of the congregation of St. Stephen, New Brunswick. In 1867, he moved to Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, and in 1877, went to Dartmouth, and remained there until 1886, when he was called by the Synod of the Maritime Provinces, to be the agent of the eastern section of the Presbyterian Church of Canada. He served as treasurer for all missionary funds and secretary of several missionary committees.
In 1865, he married Catherine McGeachy (1841–1925). He died on July 8, 1899, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
