Clipping from catalogue pasted into inside cover: "A satirical Poem of 51 pages on the habits and customs of the natives of the County Clare in the last [18th] century. It is in the Irish language, and is considered a beautiful specimen of modern writing in the Irish character, &c. Written A.D. 1812."
