    File include a copy of a letter from McTavish, Frobisher & Co. to Alexander Fraser of the North West Company. Letter regarding the posts below Quebec lately added to the Company; intended adventure of Capt. Richards to Hudson's Bay; Angus Shaw's appointment be sufficient had he only the King's posts; Mr. Grant refuses to give up the lease at Mingan; insisting that Alex. Fraser maintain the King's posts one more year before returning to the North West; Angus Shaw to go across the country by Lac Mistassini & meet the vessel at Hudson's Bay & Co.
