Biographical history
John Thomas Norwood Braithwaite was born on September 30, 1853, in Broomfleet, Yorkshire, England.
He served as pastor of the Lakeside Methodist Church in the late 1800s in East Townsend, Ohio. In 1916, he started the weekly Peninsular News.
In 1881, he married Julia Ann McCoy (1861-1932). He died on March 30, 1931, in Marblehead, Ottawa County, Ohio.
