The fonds documents mainly Babkin's professional interests in physiology, especially glandular secretions and the nervous system. The fonds contains correspondence; lecture notes; citations; research notes and papers, including manuscripts sent to him by his colleagues; reprints of scientific articles mainly in Russian; and material used in the preparation of the biography of Ivan Pavlov. The latter contains correspondence with Ivan Petrovich Pavlov and members of his family, 1923-1948; photographs and portraits; and an unabridged typescript copy of Parts 1-3 of Pavlov: a Biography, with manuscript corrections, 1943-1946.

These papers almost exclusively consist of records of his research and publications. His publications files contain drafts of various scientific papers, largely on secretions, correspondence regarding the reception of Die Aussere Sekretion der Verdauungsdrusen (1928) and negotiations surronding the publication of the Pavlov biography, and a biographical file containing a curriculum vitae, bibliography, and correspondence concerning appointments, honorary degrees, (1923-1948). Research materials comprise six volumes of reports on laboratory experiments and a file of daily laboratory reports (1923-1943). Babkin's professional correspondence with scholars and scientific associations covers the years 1928 to 1943. Most of the letters, incoming and drafts of outoing, concern research problems, consultation on draft articles by colleagues, and Babkin's own publications. There are also negotiations for speaking engagements, and a scattering of items on Babkin's social involvements, e.g. relief for Russian refugees, and letters from students.

The collection consists of three copies of the pamphlet from the British Association for the Advancement of Science meeting held in Montreal from August 27th to September 3rd, 1884, titled "Enquiries Respecting Public Education," and one copy of the Programme of Studies for the Protestant Public Schools in the Cities and towns of Manitoba. The collection includes three handwritten papers titled "Education in the Province of Manitoba," "Education in New Brunswick," and "Education in the Province of Nova Scotia." These papers contain replies to the queries in the pamphlet.

Fonds consists of measured drawings by students in the McGill School of Architecture course, History of Domestic Architecture in Quebec (1990, 1992, 1996, 1999-2001).

The fonds documents Bruce Trigger’s research and teaching activities as a professor at McGill University, his participation at international conferences, his correspondence with an international network of colleagues and researchers, as well as his writing,
publishing, and editorial work, and some aspects of his personal life, including his secondary and post-secondary education. Records include course materials, correspondence, publications and articles, conference papers and associated materials, speeches, research and reading notes, photographs and slides, and awards, including medals, plaques, and certificates, inclusive 1953-2006. Trigger’s work as a field archaeologist is reflected in scrapbooks documenting early archaeological expeditions.

The fonds contains drawings of two unidentified houses and 50 photographs documenting Wright's designs of houses as well as Wright's correspondence.

The collection consists of architectural drawings from 1888-1897 documenting three projects by Price: Windsor Station (1888-1889), James Ross House (extension, 1897), and an office building for William C. Van Horne in Vancouver, BC. These were some of Price's important commissions in Canada where he produced his most memorable work in a Romanesque Revival style, including the original wing of Chàteau Frontenac Hotel in Quebec City, QC (1882-1893), and Windsor Station for the Canadian Pacific Railway Company in Montreal, QC (1888-1889).
