This is a collection poems of Jaffier, 1810-1858. A signed note by Bertram Dobell on the covering leaf identifying Jaffier as James St.Aubyn.

The James Mallory fonds consists of McGill files (1958-1977), external files (1963-1961) and personal files (1949-1968). The McGill files comprise of correspondence, reports, minutes and memoranda for university committees reflecting Mallory's involvement in the Canadian Studies Seminar, the Department of Economics and Political Science, and the Faculty of Graduate Studies. External files consist of correspondence, reports and documents relating to professional associations and committees, and they reflect Mallory's involvement with the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Personal files contain correspondence, documents relating to Mallory's writings, manuscripts and reviews of books and articles. Arranged by subject.

This includes notes on a dictionary of Chinook Jargon (Chinook Wawa) extracted from a report of H-L. Langevin and a Frisian dictionary and grammar. There is also a volume of marriage certificates 1878-1880.

About half of Donald's papers consist of diaries giving brief daily records of his professional and sometimes personal activities from 1918 to 1981. The remaining files fall into two series. Essays and addresses, 1919-1962, largely on economic aspects of the chemical industry, were addressed to professional organizations and commercial bodies such as the Engineering Institute of Canada, the Canadian Chemical Association, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and the Industrial Development Board of Manitoba. More informal speeches include a radio talk on jobs in the chemical industry, 1938. Personal materials comprise some family, legal and investment records, 1940-1952, and undergraduate essay on medieval universities, 1910, correspondence related to an annuity fund set up by Donald for Jessie Henderson, secretary and librarian of McGill's Chemistry Department (1946-1961), and a file of press releases and congratulatory letters on Donald's receipt of the Chemical Industry Medal, 1952-1953.

"Architectural Drawings, 1894, 4 drawings." Included are drawings for an addition to the house of Arthur E. Abbott in Senneville, PQ.

Fond contains solely glass slide negatives. Many slides depict the McGill campus between the years 1918-1921, including the Strathcona Medical Building, as well as the Royal Victoria Hospital. Other subjects include street scenes taken in Montreal after the end of the First World War and the Lockharts' family life during the early 1920s.

This author's manuscript of What he cost her (1877), contains corrections.

"Architectural Drawing, n.d., 1 drawing". Included is a drawing in the archive of the façade of the American Presbyterian Church on St. James Street in Montreal. This drawing has not been described

"Dessin architectural, s.d., 1 dessin." Notamment un dessin de la façade de l'église American Presbyterian, sur la rue Saint-Jacques à Montréal. Ce dessin n'a pas encore été décrit.

The fonds consists of two letters from James Mills to Principal Sir Arthur Currie dated July 31 and August 5 1922. Both letters refer to the appointment of a principal to Macdonald College and the July letter has a typed copy with lines underlined in red ink. Included is a note from Currie to E.W . Beatty stating that a copy of the Mills letter was enclosed.

These papers comprise copies of addresses delivered to the Society.
