General note
Built by Nobbs and Hyde in 1922, this suburban country house was built on the foundations of an old French Canadian farm house, and in general form it follows the French Canadian tradition. The roof is of galvanized iron shingles, laid in the local manner, which was evolved in the use of small tin shingles.
