• Printed works that are created to meet an array of immediate needs, usually transitory in nature not intended to be saved. Examples could be broadsides, posters, leaflets, pamphlets, programs, postcards, tradecards, labels, tickets, handbills, sale notices, and valentines.

• Flat pieces of metal from which textual or pictorial images are printed. For blocks of other material, usually wood, cut to print an image or used to support other materials that form the printing surface, use "printing blocks" or a more specific term.

Use for: Private garden

• Originally, gardens designed to reflect the power and largesse of the aristocracy. Contemporary usage extends to gardens maintained by individuals that are somehow enclosed or secluded, regardless of size, and that may evoke the fanciful or fantastic. Variations of the private garden may be designed to house a collection of artworks, or to highlight a particular plant genus.
