Alexander Priestly or Priestley Bradley was born on October 26, 1824, or 1831, in Portland, New Brunswick.
He was a Canadian Civil Servant in the 1880s and 1890s in New Brunswick and Ontario. From 1882 to 1893, he was a Secretary of the Department of Railways and Canals at Kingston Mills, one of 24 lock stations of the Rideau Canal system.
He died on March 24, 1903, in Carlton, Ontario.
