White, I. C. (Israel Charles), 1848-1927
Hereward White was the maternal uncle of Hereward Senior. He was born in the late 1880s and flourished until 1940s. He was born in New York City but lived for a time in the West Indies. He joined the American Red Cross during the First World War and was sent to Estonia then later to southern Russia during the Russian Civil War. He was decorated by General Anton Deniken of the White Army and evacuated from Russia when the White military forces were defeated. He married Lillian Clark, a Red Cross nurse before the war. He lived in Paris during the 1920's and later worked as a real estate agent in East Rockaway, Long Island.
G.E. White was born about 1824 in Canada. In 1880, he lived in Clancy, Montana, and worked as a miner.
